Gardening in a Dry Climate
If you are trying to get a garden to grow in a place like Denver, Colorado, it might seem impossible with its extremely dry climate. Although Denver has an abundance of sunlight, it is difficult to start up a lush green garden complete with a weather vane and grape vines.
In order to obtain such a great garden in a place like Denver, you would have to actually build your own greenhouse and regulate your crops manually. Of course, if you are a little less hardcore about it, you can still grow many things in dry climates. You can’t try to grow tomatoes in your garden, but squash and cucumbers will still grow vibrantly next to your garden accents. If you are willing to put a little extra work into your garden, it will simply flourish with veggies and flowers because of the sunlight and fertilizer.
To prepare for a successful garden, one must weed it before planting and fertilize the soil before planting any seeds. Daily watering is also encouraged unless it rains. Pay attention to the labels when planting since they could need a later start date. Wind may be an issue too if you are planting things that grow upwards so weathervanes might be of service. Gardening can be difficult, but so very rewarding.
